The Item Inquiry option allows users to view information about items that have been defined within the system.
Many of the functions available through the Item function are also available through Item Inquiry. User security settings may not allow the user access to the Item option; however, the Item Inquiry gives the user the rights to view the items. Although items can be viewed in Item Inquiry, changes cannot be made within Item Inquiry unless the user has rights to make changes in Item. See Item for more information.
